Topics We Cover
”a conversation with friends over coffee”

We want this to feel more like a conversation with friends over coffee than an interview, so we have put together some questions for you to be thinking through beforehand to help you feel comfortable and prepared. (We will briefly talk through these with you before recording on the day of your episode).

  1. What does family mean to you?

  2. What is a question you would love to answer as it relates to family and/or your story?

  3. How has your family empowered you in your personal life and career?

  4. What is a misconception that people have about family?

  5. Is there anything you are currently promoting?

  6. What decisions have you made to prioritize family in your own life?

  7. What are some intentional things that you have done to create family in your home and/or in the lives of others?

Tips for Recording
How to make the recording as good as possible:

1. If you don’t have a podcast mic, simply use your best phone or built-in laptop mic that you have access to.

2. If your mic doesn’t work well, simply set your phone near you and record a secondary audio track. You can email the track after recording. Don’t forget to turn your phone on ‘Do Not Disturb’ so that the recording isn’t interrupted.

3. If possible, choose a quiet room that doesn’t have an echo or background noise.

4. Make sure you have a good internet connection before recording.
